Another new release by the Messenjah? Nah... not really, this one is a compilation of previously available material, mainly gathered from the Jetstar-release "Great Controversy" and some vinyl-singles. So if you don't have these already, this one is recommended. But be aware, this CD is in for the loudness-race - blame the mastering-engineer!
FIONA & LLOYD BROWN - REALLY TOGETHER
Well, you know... as springtime finally has arrived and hormone-levels are higher than usual, this is the right album at the right time. Lovers, this one's especially for you... 'cause nothing sweeter than love - well, maybe this album is.

Big up the folks who are doing all these Wackie's re-releases! Here's a fine one: stuff from the late 70's, two volumes from the "Reggae Goodies"-series on one CD. That's good value for money, I'd say!
LEROY SMART - MISTER SMART IN DUB
Here's another fine label - Jamaican Recordings - who's catering the Reggae-folks with some great recordings from back then. Plus, most of the stuff has previously been unreleased! Here's some crucial dub-work courtesy of Mr. Bunny Lee - fine dubbed out tunes from singer Leroy Smart... highly recommended.
